This watercolour painting embodies the peacefulness that we all love about Crippen Park, and has as its focus the waterway that flows under the bridge from the beaver dam. Brush strokes gently depict the pristine stillness of water on a windless day. A brilliant cadmium yellow is used to emphasize the sunrise hitting the tops of conifer trees as well as the distant trees that crown Mount Gardiner.

This painting is reproduced on a 1-1/2″ linen canvas and stretched onto a solid wooden frame with hanging system attached, and with the painting continued around the edges of the piece.
